https://www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1022807 Notice how Spassky plays 28...Nc4 retaining the bishop (and not the knight) and how the game plays out.

https://www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1128644 Suetin plays g5 How many of us would play Spassky's move 22.Qd3? I know I wouldn't, wouldn't have even thought of it. Spassky was already thinking of neutralizing the strong passed pawn on b2, trading queens and consolidating his material advantage, and heading for the endgame.

https://www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1128615 Tactics flow from a superior position. But I notice the patience and care that Spassky exerted to get there, as late as two moves before the end. (for example 39.Bb4 - ask yourself what does this move mean? - what did Spassky see?)

https://www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1081579 Why did Spassky play 20.Nd5? Why didn't Spassky save the bishop? After all he was accused of being a "bishop" player. What did Spassky see?

https://www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1105022 Another interesting endgame. Spassky splits the pawns on move 48 in order to play for a win.
