In the women's Zlata Butenko's great start came to an end against the experienced Morgen Mills. However basic endgame knowledge would have allowed her to draw a tough rook and pawn endgame.

After round 4 the buzz of the tournament must be the performance of Tymur Keleberda. He played great strategic chess against GM Razvan Preotu and hamstrung Razvan's knights with his passed rook pawn and active rook in the endgame. Once his king got into the game Razvan gave up.Comment
