Markham True North Open – A Canada Day Celebration Registration
Join us as we celebrate the National Day of Canada with six rounds of intense classical chess in the heart of Markham! The event offers four competitive sections to suit players of all levels: U1100, U1500, U1900, and Open 1900+.
***(U1100 is CFC rated, U1500, U1900 & Open 1900+ are CFC & FIDE rated)***
Players with a CFC rating within a 100-point delta can "play up" for an additional fee of $20 (e.g. CFC 1401+ may join the U1900 section, and CFC 1801+ may join the Open 2000+ section).
Space is limited (Max. 60 players), so we encourage early registration to secure your spot. Registration closes at 12:00 PM on Jun 25th, 2025.
Special Offer: Free registration is available for titled players (FM, WFM, IM, WIM) or players with a CFC rating of 2300+ or FIDE rating of 2200+.
