Sharp tactics by Keymer net him the full point and enable him to bounce back from a bad loss.

Mishra and Erdogmus continue to impress. Mishra is tied for second and has gained 32 rating points. Erdogmus at age 14 if he keeps up this pace will be the youngest 2700 by far. No surprise as he is Shak's student.

Our Canadian, Mail Jade Ouellet is having a breakthrough tournament. She has played all GM's so far! (not WGM's but full GM's). When the games are torn apart and fully analysed after the event and the lessons absorbed she should surpass 2500. No other Canadian woman has been there. Impressive!

Hans Niemann took out Erdogmus in an almost miniature. Those lessons hurt.

Vaishali kept firing shots on the kingside, including artistic work with her bishops, and her mating attack broke through. That key win gives her clear first.
