I received an e-mail from them announcing that in Nove.ber they will be using AI to produce player preparation reports..."Get detailed analysis of any opponent's playing style, weaknesses, and tendencies".

If this is real, it represents a major game changer.

    Does anyone have more info?

Its real.I did a coaching seminar last December where one of the topics was researching opponents even where they mask their ID which I carelessly do not do online. I had an high level player who beat me using a similar process a year or two ago after I drew him in our previous encounter but with better technique might have won.I volunteered for the organizer GM Robert Hungaski to quickly find what I played and any flaws in my preparation. If I didn't use a consistent user name he showed how he could still find my online id's because of participation in an online CFC quick rated exhibition tournament where members of the CFC executive and maybe Bob Gillanders played against the JtM (Juniors to Masters) kids. He honed in on one of my openings as a vulnerability from my Lichess and Chess.com accounts but I am not sure that I agree as aside from the occasional blunder I have pretty good results in that opening whatever the engines say.

I think Chess.com and maybe Lichess and definitely recent versions of Chessbase offer some of the same funcitonality.

Other lecturers for two hours segments were grandmasters:

    Alexey Shirov
    Greg Kaidanov
    Alex Shabalov
    R.B. Ramesh
    Larry Christiansen

I learned of the event from Modern Chess which is a website which I use a lot. I was impressed that they sent me to such a good seminar which competed with their own offerings.
