Chucky has been pressing but so far it has only worked out to two draws in the first two rounds.

I'm usually on top of the endgames but I missed Sindarov big winning miss of f6 against Giri. He did play it later but the moment had passed and it qualifies at that level as an endgame blunder.

Masters Rd 3 Another big loss by Vincent Keymer - this time to Bluebaum. He kept his king in the center and resigned before checkmate.

Challengers Rd 3 Nothing seems to be going right for Erwin L'Ami this year. He started the opening ok but in the opening in a Sicilian seemed tobe slowly headed south. His pieces got tangled on the queenside and he never recovered.

Miaoyi Lu collapsed after a hard fight against Andy Woodward. The only perfect score in the tournament is now gone.

I had hopes for Faustino Oro's knights but they couldnt find good squares = draw.

Masters Rd 3 After some interesting defensive maneuvers with his knight on the queenside Van Foreest managed to out grind Giri in the endgame.

Seven way tie for first in the Challengers with 2 out of three. Miaoyi Lu's loss means no decisive leader.

Bluebaum's win over Keymer puts him in a 4 way tie for first in the Masters with Abdusattarov, Erigaisi, and Niemann, all at 2 out of 3.

I missed that Van Foreest also joins the lead after beating Giri. So actually a five way tie for first. A logjam lead in both sections. But its early times yer in the tournament.
