Rd 6 Gukesh has a delicious position after move 25. Piece placement is almost everything. (tongue in cheek)

Rd6 Challengers The same can be said of Woodward's position against Carissa Yip (piece placement is almost everything or is that sometimes everything?)

Rd 6 Challengers Chucky has himself a checkmate! (Roebers is a good sport)

Rd 6 Challengers Maurizzi gives his opponent the Irish center (again!) and proceeds with a winning position.

Erdogmus vs Van Foreest almost became a comedy of errors before Erdogmus found checkmate. To give the players credit they are not backing off from a fight.

                    • Was Hans hallucinating when he sacked two pawns in the center. Seems like. It cost him severely with a tough loss.

                      • Sindarov blundered on the verge of winning so it was a draw.

                        • All the other games in the Masters were tough draws, although Pragga played the double G pawn defense which I hadnt seen in a while.

                          • In the Challengers Carissa Yip held a draw after Woodward messed up a good position.

                            • Oro had an advantage unitl he played two dubious moves when the evals swung to - 1.5. I went away thinking well now he will have to show character by digging himself out of a hole. He couldn't and lost. A hard loss and I hope it doesnt ruin his tournament.

                              • Yuffa won a tough grind in a bishop endgame.
