Ok folks, registration has picked up the last few days, here's an updated list! I will update it again on friday evening, possibly one other time beforehand if I have time do so.

Walk ins are welcome, but if you think you may be in the round robin please let us know ahead of time.

Sarthak is 2137!? That must be a breakthrough. Congratulations! Matt Lewis at 1540!! - also congratulations! You strike me as a future B player Matt!

Thanks Hans! Sarthak has had some great tournament results recently, and Matt cut down on his piece donations (Matt typing here).

Below is the final update for tomorrow's tournament. I woudn't be surprised if we got a couple more tonight and got some walk ins as well. Looking like a good turnout. See everyone tomorrow!

We've just wrapped up a great day of chess here, we ended up with 44 players, thanks to everyone that came out!

First prize in the Round Robin was split by Sarthak Deshpande and Mahip Singh, each with 4 points, the latter sealing his prize with two seconds on his clock in round 5. Very competitive field!

Elvis Husic took clear first in the Swiss section with an impressive 4.5 points. Second was split three ways between Slobodan Markovic, Farhaan Syed and Joey Befurt with 4 points each. Trevor Meagher won the top U1600 prize with 3.5. Nathan Budd and Simon von Fintel shared the top U1200 prize with 2 points each.

Again thanks to all for coming out. We'll be hosting another Saturday active mid summer, and again later in the fall. We'd love to see you all again.

I had a great time even though I played only one game and taking Matt's king with only nine seconds left was the capper! Lunch was great sharing with Mike and Rob the Gashbrother.

Hey Hans (Matt here)! Joey played really well, not a typo. Whenever I looked in on his games I saw a pretty overwhelming attack.

As for our game, plenty for me to learn but getting you down to a sweaty 9 seconds is something. Thanks for coming out!
