FORMAT
Seven-round Swiss tournament, 90 min + 30 Second Increment from move 1. Default time is 30 minutes from the posted start time of each round.
SCHEDULE
Round 1: Friday at 7:00pm
Round 2 to 7: Saturday, Sunday and Monday at 10:00am and 4pm
ELIGIBILITY
No rating restrictions, multiple sections
Crown (min 2000 FIDE or 2200 CFC), U2200, andU1800 will be FIDE & CFC Rated.
U1600 and U1300 will be CFC only.
Section eligibility is determined by highest of FIDE/CFC/FQE.
Other than for the Crown which has a strict rating floor, players rated within 100 elo of a section may play up for a $20 fee.
CFC membership or tournament rating fee required, and can be purchased at the event.
ENTRY FEES
Early Bird through April 15: $105
Regular Pricing from April 16: $125
Late Pricing from May 11: $140
Free entry for GM / WGM / IM / WIM
No onsite registration.
PRIZE FUND
$7,500 based on 250 entrants. $1,500 guaranteed for first place in Crown.
