    Rats!!! There goes six months of design work on my checkers bench idea. :(

      At least they got the board oriented correctly! It would be hard to play if it was rotated 90 degrees...

        So if someone wants to sit down there you have to fold up the game? To keep the crowd on their feet you best play well!

          There's an ill-conceived idea! Put the bench at Church and Queen and see if the board is still there in the morning. :) Also, where would you put the clock?

            Also such bench designs are no longer used in Toronto. They all have to have a divider in the middle so that homeless people can't stretch out and sleep on them (Even though it's cheaper to have them sleep there rather then in a bed-bug infested, violent shelter).
