  • Canadian Chessplayer swims Lake Ontario!

Congratulations to Jay Serdula, who swam accross Lake Ontario today to raise money for Asperger's Syndrome. Jay is a regular chess player, who I had the pleasure of playing most recently against at the McIntosh Open in Morrisburg this spring.

An impressive result. Anyone who can support his cause is encouraged to donate.

That's nothing. Edmonton chess player Nic Haynes swam across the Pacific Ocean and back yesterday, to raise money for all the Calgarians who's asses he has kicked. Then he kept the money, and gave the Calgarians herpes instead.

It was all for a good cause.

That's nothing. If he were a GM he would have walked across the Pacific Ocean and been carried back.

Calgarians are ungrateful. Herpes is the gift which keeps on giving. :)
