Re: Hart House - Toronto Open - Results?
Wow! That makes my computer problem trivial in comparison.
I was running a tournament on Saturday, and for some reason I kept getting a "file sharing error" message. Nothing worked, closing sections, closing the program, re-booting. I ended up making a copy of the tournament, and that worked.
Wow, laptop stolen. Good luck.

How is that possible!?? Was not kept an eye on it?
O.K. this wins the prize as the dumbest post on here for a month! And the competion was severe....LOL!
Seriously, if you are going to use your laptop at a tournament (or any other public place where there is even a slight chance it might be left alone for even a minute) you should seriously invest a few bucks in one of those laptop security cables. Make sure if you use the table leg, the table cannot simply be lifted up!...Mike Pence: the Lord of the fly.

I prefer the hardened steel cable and a good place to tether it... but as most bicycle owners can tell you: many of the cables are not strong enough.
Mind you, someone wandering around a chess tournament with bolt cutters ought to raise some sort of warning flag......Mike Pence: the Lord of the fly.

A few years back, my "missing" dog changed hands 3 times before I found her and that was in about 2 weeks. The one who originally "found" the dog thought it was a dog she had given away. (You'd have had to hear the conversation I had.)
I'd imagine a laptop would move around and many wouldn't even know the history.Gary Ruben
