  • Some questions about ratings and titles

    Hi
Could someone please tell me where I can view my current FQE and CFC rating?
Also what exactly do the titles NM(National Master) and DM(Display Master) mean? As in, how can one achieve them?

    Thanks!

    Finding a CFC Rating

    Hi Sankalp:

For your CFC rating, go to the CFC Website: http://www.chess.ca/. Click on the sidebar on " Products and Services ".

You will see a menu for Services . Under it is a subheading " Competitions ", and under that the link to " ratings ".

Your FQE rating and results from recent tournaments:

      http://fqechecs.qc.ca/index.php?typ=...j&nofqe=102404

Click on the tournament name to see its crosstable.

National Master in Canada means maintaining a 2200 rating for 25 consecutive games.

It would be nice perhaps if the CFC website easily showed who has the title.

Rating 2224 (it is an initial rating)

You may ask at info@chess.ca to change your Location (India, FO) in a case you'll stay in Canada, and get a normal CFC membership
