Play Rated Chess in Hamilton Each Friday Starting September 17

100 Main Street West, Hamilton Ontario
Lower Auditorium
Parking and Entrance at Side of Building Facing King. Enter off Bay Street

Entry Fee and Prizes:
The entry fee will be $15 plus room rent
Rent is $3/week except for club members who pay membership rate
If enough enter there will be a category prize and top junior prize
The category prize would be about half field (usually around 1850)
Players who win multiple prizes will receive the larger prize only
Unrated players are not eligible for the category prize
Rules:
This event is governed by CFC rules and the HCCC charter as our TD interprets them
Games begin at 7:30 pm or as soon as pairings are announced
The 1 hour late rule is in effect. All forfeits are rated
Time Controls will be 80 minutes with a 30 second increment
Please email bye requests by Thursday before the relevant game
