    The Chess Olympiad begins in a few weeks. This event attracts most of the best players in the world as well as those who have never used a chess clock before :)

    The website says:

    The Chess Olympiad 2010 will take place in Khanty Mansiysk from September 20th (opening) to October 3rd (final round and closing). All rounds start at 15:00 local time, except the last round which starts at 11:00. The opening and closing ceremony are at 20:00 in the respective days

    Considering recent activity, quality of opposition, and latest performances, Gerzhoy should supplant Thomas on Bd 2. Or is this planned to maxim,ize pts?
