Hi again, with just over a week to go, we have well over 50 registered, and judging by emails about registrations already in the mail, are probably actually closer to 60 players. Please note that the current $20 double-early discount applies until before next Thursday, September 23rd. If you are mailing in your payment (cheque or postal money order), you should do so rather soon, so that it makes it here before next Thursday. For local players who would prefer to pay in cash at the RA club, tonight will be the last chance to (in person) take advantage of the $20 double-early discount. Please note that due to other commitments, that I can only be at the RA club tonight between 7pm and 730pm. If you miss me, please see Halldor, thanks. Next Thursday evening will be the $10 early discount, and finally there will be no early discount onsite (the Amateur/RA/title discounts are available throughout the registration timeline).
N.B. for players from the RA club : please renew your RA Chess membership as soon as feasible, to take advantage of the $5 RA registration discount! The last time I checked, the following players, all of them already registered and paid, still needed to renew their RA memberships or add $5 to the pot:
Buss, Danilov, Dunne, Farah, Hubley, Kalra, Luo(F), Luo(T), Murray(A), Qin, Ritchie, Sadeghi, Schwartz, Sun, Upper, Yang, Zhang(D), Zhang(K)
