Artiom scores the first point (unless what actually happened he played Qg7 forcing mate in 3 and then accidentally resigned ) Still no word of the round 3 live game scoring fiasco?

Looks like Dina is getting mated (or resigned).

            Hi Vlad:

Last night Ilia Bluvshtein, Can. Olympiad Coordinator, in response to my concerns I e-mailed to him, replied that the score in the Open Section against Uruguay was indeed 2-2 ( Mark won; Leonid lost; Thomas and Artiom drew ). The live feed scores shown were wrong. That's all she wrote folks !!

              Interesting match:
              Code:
Russia 1 (RUS1)- United States of Americ (USA)
              5.1 Kramnik Vladimir	2780 -	Nakamura Hikaru	2733
              5.2 Grischuk Alexander	2760 -	Kamsky Gata	2705

                Yuanling and Mark both drew.

                Yelizaveta lost.

                  Hi Bob,
Are you satisfied with that as an explanation? I'm not!
How does a win turn into a draw? A draw into a loss? Were we watching the actual games? What really happened?

                    Re: 2010 Olympad - round 4

We need one (or more) of the team members to look at the thread called "Canadian PGN's" and give corrections to the round 3 gamescores.

Not related to Canadian results, but Carlsen just lost to some random 2696.

If we are to believe the round 4 posted results, Canada beat Thailand 3.5-0.5, and the ladies lost to Latvia by the same score. The first boards were draws; all other games were decisive.

                          Re: 2010 Olympad - round 4 =Polgar

Judith Polgar defeats Bu Xiangzhi to power Hungary past China 2.5-1.5

Netherlands still lock in battle with Spain after 2 draws (if the results are correct).

Russia 1 in big win over the US 3-1.

Magnus Carlsen lost to Georgian player Jobava.

                          Toplaov has a forceful win.

I'm not 100% sure about exactly what happened, but i think that they just labeled the games wrong. So the game labeled Board 2 was actually Board 3 and vice versa. Meaning that the canadians were the opposite colours of what we thought they were.
