2nd London Chess Classic with a bunch too well known players including Canadian champion Luke McShane, who beat Magnus Carlsen in the first round.

From a conference "He (Magnus Carlsen) suggested he had had little or no contact with FIDE and didn't have a copy of the contract he needs to sign by December 22nd, and didn't suggest any chance of a change of heart either. " retrieved http://www.chess.co.uk/twic/chessnew...-chess-classic (FIDE as always)

18.Nc6 and 22.Na6 by McShane stand out!. Beautiful games by Mickey Adams and Vlad the Impaler! - and a nice hold by Nakamura as black against the World Champion.
