After 8 rounds, both Spraggett and Piasetski stand at 6 - 2. Is this a GM norm for Piasetrski?

No - he won't have met the necessary 3 GMs for a norm, and the average rating of his opponents (2187) is far too low.

The games for the first 8 rounds seem to be at the site under Partidas. I downloaded them. I don't think round 9 has been finished yet.

Click "Ciudad de Sevilla" and scroll down to just below the pictures and round numbers and click "Partidas".

Solid result for Spraggett and a nice tournament win for Stewart Haslinger. I played him a few times back in the early/mid 90s in weekend chess tournaments in the North West of England. I think he has had some health problems also. I think he could reach 2600+ in the future.
