Active: February 12 at Mom's Cafe
This event will be held in lieu of the regular Saturday Blitz at Mom's Cafe.
FORMAT: Five rounds swiss pairings.
ENTRY FEE: $30 payable by 2:00 pm - the tournament will start at that time.
TIME CONTROL: 15 minutes per player for the game.
PRIZES: Total = $20 per player + $50 added. Rating prizes as per groupings. We will use the active ratings posted after the January 15 active -posted below.
If no active rating, then blitz then CFC or FIDE ratings will be used.
EQUIPMENT: Provided for up to 24 entries. Some players will also brings sets and clocks.
WHERE: Mom's Cafe, 1096 Danforth Ave (between Donlands and Greenwood). If more than 16 entries,
then the extra games will be played at the Seanachai pub next door (for those who like beer with their chess).
