    True, but it's a tough section. As Natalia Pogonina pointed out yesterday, Daniel Vocaturo, who won Mark Bluvshtein's section C in Wijk aan Zee, is dead last in Aeroflot A.

        And strong competition aside, as I was painfully reminded of in Gibraltar this year there are any number of non-chess reasons that could be affecting their performance. Moscow in Feb strikes me as breeding ground for colds/flu. Dietary and possibly different time zones could have an effect as well. It's not always easy playing in a different environment, especially one as different as Moscow would be.

          Its a feast for us spectators. Check out two "unknowns" rd 7: Romanov-Papin, very nice miniature. And Gata Kamsky played a beautiful game with an amazing pawn march.
