  • The Final Theory of Chess by Gary Danelishen

I would like to know if anyone here has the book and if it is good.
Only a couple of contradictory reviews can be found at amazon.com and I see that the cover shown at amazon.ca was provided by Neil Sullivan.
    Thank you.

Wow! I don't even remember submitting that picture. Anyhow, I found this review by Rick Kennedy that you might find useful:

There is also an online project:

The book seems to be reams of computer-generated openings analysis.

i would be surprised in the Albin and Blackmar-Diemer gambit are the "final theory" of chess...he makes a good point though, if you're going to do computer analysis you want tactical positions and positions where there's only one or two choices as opposed to the closed Ruy Lopez....

        Thank you for the information.
The idea looks interesting and the price is minimal ....
one problem though: the book shelf I added last year is already full :(
