  • CFC business office

According to a thread on the CFC board, the business office is changing... somehow.

"2 years ago, the President, David Lavin, outsourced the whole CFC business operation to a company, EKG, who supplied for CFC a part-time Executive Director, Gerry Litchfield. Not all governors agreed with this. The contract appears to have concluded about Friday, April 29, and both EKG and CFC have agreed it will not be renewed. The President indicated there was CFC interest in going back to an Executive Director employee, and that Gerry was interested. The CFC Treasurer, Fred McKim, has just indicated that further word on this issue is imminent."

Is there an update on this?

I've been asking; to date all the info I have is it's "Business as usual" for now.

So I guess the contract has been extended on a week-by-week basis until something is arranged. Quite unsettling for Gerry, I should think.

Nobody said anything about week to week. Let's all just have some patience and wait for everything to be finalized and an announcement.

Week-to-week, month-to-month, day-to-day, whatever. Now doubt something will get worked out in the fullness of time.

            Relax John. :)
            New contract in place.
            Gerry will continue as ED.
Details in the fullness of time.
            No interruption of service. :)
