    Calgary International - Round 2

Round 2 has started and all 5 games are being broadcasted live on our website:

Daily reports are also available here:

David Ottosen will give $1,000 towards the prize fund if the percentage of decisive games is 66.7% or higher. That means 30 of the 45 games must be wins. There are some conditions tied to this (all entirely acceptable), but this does add another dynamic to the tournament. Let us see if it has any effect.

    Thanks David!

Round 3 will begin at 6 pm MT.

Where is that # 5 game of IM.Jacek Stopa! What happened to that? I don't see it on the website.

Yes, sorry about that game, technical problems at our end. That board is missing a cable and the software crashed, it became too difficult to restore.

Also having issues with the broadcasting computer, will replace it for round 3 and hopefully that will eliminate the other glitches.

What is the result from that game anyway? Thanks for that in advance.

May you include a standard RR crosstable.

I suppose we could but why? The one we are using gives you everything you need (colours).

It is more intuitive, especially sorted by points. Colors are not so important, for colors we go to games :D (it is possible to mark with bold Blacks too :)

The crosstable is generated in SwissSys for this tournament. I don't think they have the traditional rr xtab built into the software. If they did, I would do it. It only lets you look at standings and wallchart. If someone wants to do it and send me the file, I would be happy to include it on the website.

Go to Pairings / Round robin pair table
                        Choose Edit/Copy all
Paste between PRE tags in your HTML file. It is not the nicest format but a real RR crosstable :D

                        Try it.

Ah, that works! I learned something new today.

Thanks! When I get a chance, will see what I can do.
