OK... saw the other thread. So it's Windsor (2008), Kitchener (2009), Kitchener (2010).

The 2011 event had 18 teams of 4 players (occasionally, a reserve would sub in for a single floater game on one of the extra float teams, so the cross-tables might have seen more than 72 players involved this year to fill out 2 rooms for this year's larger than average tournament). After 5 rounds, a team from Windsor seems to have emerged as the team winner. Mr Thompson had still been calculating the best individuals' performances at home later tonight, and since that calculation is more complicated, he says that those prizes will be in the mail in the future. A couple of players went undefeated, and there were (at least) 3-4 teams down to the wire in the last round to see whether a tie-break was necessary to decide on how close the Willowdale, Annex and/or Kitchener clubs (probably a couple of others watched too) were to catching that runaway team that picked up the title a few years ago as well. Keep an eye out in the forthcoming weeks for the cross-table version that eventually shows rankings on the CFC site.
