Hi Hugh,

I see that the FQE is rating these tournaments now as well. http://www.fqechecs.qc.ca/cms/cotes/tournois/id/3967
Now we have 2 separate rating systems for blitz? Since you have been doing it for so long, I don't understand why they didn't just ask to incorporate yours.

The William Ellsworth who played here is a young (10?) lad from Florida. He played pretty well and seemed like a very polite and normal kid too. This probably means he won't reach his full chess potential.

Yes - the FQE is rating these tournaments as well (probably at no charge). However - their crosstables are almost impossible to read - especially for a 19-player round-robin. I will continue rating them until further notice (although maybe not until the crosstables appear on the FQE site).
