The Hamilton City Chess Club presents a 5 round Swiss on Aug 20 & 21

Schedule:
Please Confirm Your Registration Saturday Aug 20 at 9:00 am
(Players arriving after 9:20 may not be paired for round 1)
Game Times
Saturday - 9:30 am, 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm
Sunday - 11:00 am and 4:00 pm
Sections and Prizes:
Top Guns, U2000 and Juniors (17 and under + U1650)
Top Guns and U2000 will play for cash prizes. Juniors will play for trophies
Top Guns will be limited to players over 1900 CFC
Juniors who play round 5 get a cool competitors ribbon!
Please Note: Unrated Players are not eligible for the U2000 prize
Fees:
Top Guns and U2000 $45.00 Juniors $15.00 cash only
Email us by Aug 19 to receive $5.00 discount
Titled Players who commit to playing by August 14th will receive major discount
When you pre-register please tell us what section you want to play in!
Top Guns and U2000 Sections Require CFC membership
Juniors do not require CFC membership but CFC rules (e.g. recording moves) still apply
Time Control: All Games 80 minutes with a 30 second Increment
Rules And Equipment:
Bring Chess sets, Boards & Digital Clocks
Please turn off your cell phones
Our TDs rulings based on the CFC Handbook are final
