        Re: 2012 University Chess Championship

Best wishes to all participants and organizers for this weekend's University Chess Championship, hosted by the University of Western Ontario!! :)

This year's event marks the tenth in the series begun at Western in 2003. I was honoured to direct that event, and had roles with several other renditions since. The format which the organizers set up in 2003 has been followed quite closely ever since.

Hopefully the frightful winter storm dominating southern Ontario right now won't cause too many problems with teams travelling to play chess!!
