    The 15 minute Rapid is played from 2pm every Saturday
    at the Maple Leaf Sports Bar 828 Danforth (half way between
    the Pape and Donlands subway stations).
    Entry fee is $30 - cash prizes for winners in rating
    groupings as well as the top two or three over all.

    Hi Vlad:

    Congratulations - your rapid ( previously Blitz ) seems to have started to grow a bit after years in the single digits - 13 players this last weekend - makes for a nice little tournament, I'm sure, and you have consistently drawn some very strong players from Toronto and region.

    One suggestion - Hugh Brodie for the Cafe Pi Blitz in Montreal posts an actual crosstable of the tournament. I think this is more promotional of the tournament, since viewers can see all the various players who are showing up at random times. If you could do it, I think viewers would like to see who all is coming out. It may help increase attendance.

      We drew the front window curtain to eliminate the daylight glare for this picture. The lighting is quite adequate.
