  • CMA in Toronto...totally awesome!

In August 2010, we hired Francis Rodrigues to manage our Toronto operation...this turned out to be totally awesome for Chess'n Math (CMA)!

If we had such motivated people working for us...in all of the 20 full-time positions we offer at CMA...we would double our influence in the community overnight!

On the weekend...we had 149 players at our regular Toronto February event in Toronto...up from 83 last year!

Thank you Francis and your team!

    YOU ARE ALL VERY AWESOME!

    Larry

Are you looking for 19 new employees? :D

As for Francis, yeah, he has a charisma to attract people.
Do you still run a Friday night club? :)

He's also a valued chesstalk poster, with wit and brevity, but the name is spelled Rodriguez not Rodrigues. You're dreaming of vacation in Portugal (or maybe of the Fado singer Amalia); you should have been dreaming of vacation in Spain (or maybe the grandmasters Amador or Orestes).

I would like to completely agree with Larry,
Francis is very energetic, and a hard working person. I've called the office few times, and he was there quite late. He is a business man, as he has businesses out side of chess, and there is no doubt that CMA needs people with skills that he has. Schools are doubled, tournaments are growing in terms of participants. What else is there to say. He is a great coordinator, and hopefully he will stay with CMA as long as he can.
