    When I try to connect to the Monroi site, all I get is:

    Database Error: Unable to connect to the database:Could not connect to MySQL

    I get the same error even when trying to access the main Monroi page:

          Yes, that is the tower of the Hotel Grand Pacific in the background. That's where the Open will be played this year. I might be racing in the Swiftsure Classic, but every serious chess player also has time for ... chess! That's me with my mini board and a somewhat wet copy of volume one of Chess on the Edge. I'm sitting in the stern of Fiasco (skippered by John Schnellback) - an Olson 30 racing yacht.

          What a glorious day it was.

                i would like to register but there is a small chance i will be unable to play. are refunds allowed provided they are requested in a reasonably timely manner?

                        The monroi site is down for me too but the online registration link that ben gives is on a different site and is ok.
