  • May 31 CYCC pre-registration: 163 players

    Tonight at midnight the rate goes up. The payment need to be received today in order to count as "Early Registration".

    You can find the list (updated at 1:00 PM) here.

    On a quick count, I make it

    BC 73 players
    AB 7
    MB 1
    ON 78
    NB 2
    and 2 ex-pats, from China and India

    Andre, you have Harold Hunter listed twice.

          It usually does. I can't believe that seventeen kids from the Windsor area will be there. I thought there wouldn't be any when the bid was accepted at the AGM. I underestimated the draw of playing for a national championship and a chance to represent Canada at the WYCC.

          The turnout from Alberta seems a bit low for a neighboring province. No one from Quebec as of yet. The total numbers are very encouraging as they have already surpassed the historical average of around 150 with more than a month to go. Kudos to the organizers.
