Laurier rents out rooms quite cheaply, then you can either walk or get some bus tickets.

$45 a night for one person isn't too bad for a pretty good quality and well-kept building.

Even better is if you group up and get an apartment, works out to less than $30 a night each if there are enough of you (4-5 people), with everyone actually getting a bed too.

Just as long as you have pre-registered (easiest online at: www.chessreg.ca ) you have reserved the pre-registered rate.

You will need to check in (to be paired for the first round) by about 5 pm.

(unless you want to pay online as well ... we are set up with PayPal)

Re: the O2000 section, we have several more people talking about coming, I just cannot list them until they have actually registered.

Re: Parking, unfortunately the free parking in the city hall underground parking, this is not free until Sunray. Friday evening parking is free across the road (to the south-easr) after 6pm. Saturday, I believe you can park free at Water and Charles (N-We corner) all day.
