Details

Where: Traveller's Inn (City Center) 1961 Douglas St.

(note: there are several Traveller's Inns in the area - make sure you go to the right one!)

The tournament site and hotel are located just outside of downtown Victoria within easy walking distance of China Town and the Inner Harbour.

When: Nov. 15-16, 2008

Rounds: Nov. 15 at 10:00, 2:00, 7:00; Nov. 16 at 10:00, 2:00
Those registering after 9:30 are not guaranteed a Swiss pairing for the 1st round.

Entry Fee: Early Bird (on or before Nov. 10) $30. After Nov. 10 or at the door $40. $5 discount for CFC members.

Time Control: Game/90 with a 30 sec. increment.

Prizes: 1st $75, U1800 $50 (guaranteed)

Accomodation: Traveller's Inn (City Center) 1961 Douglas St. Phone: 250-953-1000

Rooms at the Traveller's Inn in November (winter rates) start at $69.95 for those with discount cards (e.g. BCAA or governement employees)
