do I still need FQE membership?

Hi Larry, given the new CFC-FQE agreement, can I skip renewing my FQE membership?

Thanks and regards, Aris.
CFC lifetime member & expired FQE member

P.S. Did FIDE IMs/GMs need FQE membership?

That's how I understand it.

People understand what they want to understand. The (new) agreement has still not been voted by the governors but who cares ? When it comes to skipping FQE membership "good faith" and "good will" is more than enough.

Actually, AFAIK it has now been fully approved by both sides.

Hi Larry,

Could you update us on the status of pre-registrations. It would also be useful if you would show whether participants are entered in the short or long program and any requested byes. This would allow for any necessary corrections prior to the tournament. Thanks.

Hey Larry, or whoever else appropriate, could we see a pre-registered list, including who registered for the "alternative" format with 3 shorter rounds on the Friday? Thanks! Aris.
