The 15 minute Rapid is played from 2pm every Saturday
at the Legends Sports Lounge, 774 Danforth (2 blocks east of the Pape subway station).
Entry fee is $30 - cash prizes for winners in rating
groupings as well as the top two or three over all.

Next weekend is the annual Taste of the Danforth streeet festival. There will be a million people sampling food along the Danforth (depending on rain or not). One year Chess n' Math had a booth close to where this weekly tournament is played now. Any chance of chess tables on the street?

Where we play is almost on the street - but players might want to move their individual games onto the patio at the front. What I suggest is that people come to the tournament and take in the festival afterwards. There will be great Greek food and free entertainment to enjoy. So, yes why not make a day of it?
