  • CFC Ratings page?

Is it almost a year since the CFC spent $18,000 ! on their new web page. And still every time I visit there to see the ratings updates - the first message I see is >>>>>>>> "The requested page "/ratings.shtml" could not be found."

Just happened to go there this morning to see the new ratings following the Canadian Closed (Zonal) tournament. Eventually, it appeared that the event had not been rated yet despite having been completed last Saturday.

Perhaps having a file "ratings.shtml" with at least that advice would be better than coughing up a 404?

There were hundreds of files that have changed names, should there be a replacement file for each?

They *could* update the 404 error to say "the page may have been renamed, please update your bookmarks" or something like that. Or even, as some sites do, instead of a simple 404 error, it does a site search for you and gives the listings.

Yes, a better 404 handler would be a much better solution.

I assume the rating site (page) is the most popular, thus it might treated accordingly including old links.

I gotta question - Does Lali and Myriam get the WIM title from the closed? How does the title giveouts work in the womens championships?
