      Point for Noritsyn :)
Bator is under attack. Maybe without hope. :(

Looks like 2.5-1.5 win for Canada - up 2-1 and I have no idea how either side could make progress in the Hansen game.

Did you forget that Eric's opponent was in desperate need for a win and that Eric Hansen is a God?

It does look like Eric found a way in... up a piece now and I see his opponent just resigned!

If Eric had been careless on his last move and taken with the Queen there would have been a draw due to stalemate motifs!
Of course, he would not make that sort of mistake.

Congratulations Eric and the rest of the team!

Brilliant play by Hansen! That's why he's there and we're here!

Exactly! A draw was no good for his team and he had to go for it!

I think his opponent found a way to let him in; everyone is correct though that his opponent had to try something to win, but that was a pretty weak attempt.

One man's loss is another man's gain :D

I think he overlooked that he could be mated in the simple endgame.
