      It also looks like our women's group gets to joust with another of our more familar Commonwealth (and titled) neighbors: England. Let's keep winning in the other group as well, after seeing them net a 3-1 victory versus the Egyptians. Sounds like those Kitchener chess clubs have started to cheer a bit more lately for Iulia after registering her first win yesterday in that venture.

      Is there any word on which flight a homecoming welcome would see the women's and open groups of the Canadian team might arrive back in Toronto (or other cities)? It might be nice to see whether any of the media would want to be alerted about Canada reeling home another (potential) grandmaster.

        Bator Sambuev is sitting today which perhaps alters some of those predictions. Hard to say which way though given he has 5 losses in his past 6 games and the 2nd lowest TPR on the team.
