Hello all,
The Hart House Chess Club, at University of Toronto, is organizing a second open tournament this year. We had a terrific turn-out at the end of June, and are looking forward to another great tournament.
When: December 19th, 20th, 21st (Fri, Sat, Sun)
Where: Debates Room, 2nd Floor, Hart House, University of Toronto
7 Hart House Circle, Toronto (same as last time)
Style: 5 Rounds Swiss
Sections: Open (w/U2200 prizes), U2000 (w/U1800 prizes) and U1600 (w/U1400 & UNR prizes)
Rounds: Friday 6pm, Saturday 10am & 4pm, Sunday 10am & 4pm
Time Control: 30/90, SD/60
Entry Fee: $60 in advance either by e-mail or cheque. $70 on-site.
$10 extra to play up a section.
$20 discount for juniors, seniors, women, UT students.
One discount per player.
Free for IMs if registered by December 12th, $40 afterwards, $50 on-site.
Participants must be members of the Chess Federation of Canada (www.chess.ca)
