"Form is temporary, class is permanent"

Hikaru and Grischuk played to a draw in the final round of the London Grand Prix (after Hikaru beat Giri in the previous round to put a stop to his 3-game losing "streak")

Hikaru also tweeted congratulations to the 3 players who shared first place: Topalov, Gelfand and Mamedyarov ...

I imagine that he is glad this tournament is over - on to the next one!

Great tweet! His losing streak was four - Hao (R6), Mamedyarov (R7), Ivanchuk (R8), and Adams (R9) - not three.

My bad. Yes, he had lost 4 in a row ... I can only presume he is even happier than I speculated that the tournament is over!

At least he's back in the top 10 after a one day hiatus.

Topalov is also back in the top 10 today for the first time in quite some time.

Glad to see Topalov up there. He is a pleasant guy in person and has been branded in a rather negative way due to his manager.
