Re: Game viewer in blog entry-How to do?

Pgn4web is very good and quite simple to use. http://pgn4web.casaschi.net/home.html
This is what I use on http://www.matoutaouais.org

I don't think there is a plugin for blogspot but you should be able to use it anyways. This application is written in javascript, which is a big advantage over Java (IMHO !)

On my blog, I prefer to use the excellent chesstempo.org script, but you must have control of you own blog to use it as I do. (http://www.gilles-jobin.org/jobineri...?Echephileries) All your games from your BCN can be viewed with my special treatement of the chesstempo script...

    Good luck,
    Glles

PS. Please excuse my poor english.

        Here's another option: https://github.com/bmarini/jchess

Michael, the pgn4web site that Gilles recommended appears to allow you to paste a PGN and simply use the resulting HTML on your blog.

Other options will require you to manage files, and do some more specific work to integrate it into your blog.

I looked at the link and was immediately lost. Sorry it's just techno jibberish to me.

I'm as far as I can. I copy paste the embed code into a blog entry but the viewer does not appear, just the code.

Sorry but I'm stuck. Need some assistance.

                Michael,

When you paste the code generated with Pgn4web in blogger, dont forget to paste it in HTML (it's a button over your box editor).
I tried it with an old blogger site of mine, and it works well.

Re: Game viewer and New Question

I still have problems importing the PGN but I think its because I have nested games in the annotations.

                  http://chessflash.com/chessflash.html
Is working best and easiest for me

Q2: How can(starting from Chessbase) get a gamescore with diagrams that I can just cut and paste into blogger?

There must be an easy way. I can't figure out what to output that's suitable for blogger to display.

My goal is to have the notation + diagrams and then allow readers to click through the moves on a game viewer.

                  Thanks in advance

Get own personal web page where you could use various scripts, plugins etc. Even post a chessbase code.
