  • Larry/Chris - new board request

Someone spoke to me tonight about a feature that was on the old board, but not on the new board. On the old French board, there was a link to the Montreal Chess club tournaments - with results and games from the Wednesday night events. This player wanted to prepare for his opponent this week, and couldn't link to the games.

Here is a link to the board the way it looked about a year ago and you will see the link: http://web.archive.org/web/200708071...com/echephile/

Is there a way you can put that link back (as you have for Strategy Games)?

Two ways of doing it. I can put it as an announcement in the French forum, or I can put it under the Strategy Games thing (visible on the English side too). Thoughts?

      Some suggestions:

      1) On the French board, the "Strategy" ad links you to the English page, and you have to click again to get the French page. Could you put the logo in French ("Boutique Stratégie") and link directly to the French page: http://strategygames.ca/boutique_jeux_strategie.html

      2) Check with Larry if there is an English link to the Montreal CC site. If so - put another box under or beside the Strategy box (on the English board). Do the same for the French link (on the French board).

(aren't you happy we only have two official languages? South Africa has 11 (Afrikaans,English,IsiNdebele,IsiXhosa,IsiZulu,Sepedi,Sesotho,Setswana,SiSwati,
      Tshivenda,Xitsonga).

      (and in nearby Zimbabwe, today's exchange rate is US $1 = 3,524,550,000 Zimbabwe $. See http://www.rbz.co.zw/ )

        That means I could be a multi-trillionaire in Zimbabwe. Don't I feel special :)

On a serious note, it's not looking very good in there right now, eh...
