  • Even Champions make mistakes

Do you think only beginners don't know how to castle? Think twice.
Karpov joined Korchnoi in the teach-me-how-to-castle class.

    Enjoy the show :D

Six-time Irish champion Wolfgang Heidenfeld shows how to castle King-side - and then 23 moves later how to castle Queen-side! :-)

      Hugh,

      Good thing he lost :D

So how would that be stored in a database? Wouldn't any professional database pick up on the fact that White had already castled once?

No matter how big and bad you are, when a two-year-old hands you a toy phone, you answer it.

You would probably have to "fudge" the moves - i.e. get White's K over to c1 and the R to d1, while making irrelevant moves for Black.

What I find even funnier is that the guy who beat him also missed that he had already castled :)
