  • CFC Membership Fee Question: What age is a Junior?

I was on the chess.ca website looking for information on Junior membership fees for Newfoundland & Labrador. I found the rates, however I could not find the qualifying ages to be classified a Junior.

Some consider a Junior as under 20 years old, others say under 18 years old.

Please advise as to what the qualifying Junior is for CFC memberships.

    Thanks! Jordan
No matter how big and bad you are, when a two-year-old hands you a toy phone, you answer it.

    the CFC handbook
    JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP
    9. Any person ordinarily resident in Canada who has not reached the age of 20 by January 1st of the current year, shall be granted a Junior membership.
in principle it is the same definition as for the WJCC.
