    Paul Keres in Canada
The legend Paul Keres won his last tournament in Vancouver 1975. The subject of Keres in Canada came up on the chesstalk message board recently.

Here is a nice attacking game by Keres from the Vancouver Open 1975. Keres started his career as a ferocious attacking player and later rounded out his style to become a truly universal player.

I'll do one or more games soon. Organizers did a great job.

Three games from my team match earlier today.

    Game 1
    Budapest TCh 2012-13 Rd9 Board 1
IM Halasz,Tamas won a tough RR vs Q battle as the RAC top two boards came through with key wins. Unfortunately RAC I lost the match to Spartcus II 7.5-4.5

    Metaxasz,Vaszilisz (2151) - Halasz,Tamas (2364)
    QGD Exchange[D35]
    BUD tch Lilienthal 12/13 (9.1), 10.03.2013

    Game 2
    Budapest TCh 2012-13 Rd9 Board 2
My RAC teammate Szepes,Tamas also faced a Benko Gambit but played a much nicer game than me and won in style.

    Szepes,Tamas (2228) - Lisznyai,Sandor (2192)
    Benko Gambit[A58]
    BUD tch Lilienthal 12/13 (9.2), 10.03.2013

    Game 3
Here's the game.(Better analysis coming soon)

    Yip,Michael (2087) - Szentmihalyi,Tamas (2051)
    Benko Gambit 8.g3[A58]
    BUD tch Lilienthal 12/13 (9.4), 10.03.2013

I stumbled into a won position with some non-special play and then noticed the winning move quickly. Then, I looked for an even better one. Sadly my improved 'win' had an obvious hole in the idea and after, I struggled to make a draw.
