  • Kramnik now leads Candidates!!!

    A remarkable day in London. Kramnik took down Aronian when the latter blundered in the ending after several previous miraculous escapes. Then Ivanchuk, always dangerous, whipped Carlsen in a model rook endgame. This is getting interesting.:D

    Yes, indeed!!
    Kramnik is the only undefeated player and his remaining games are against Gelfand and Ivanchuk. If he can pull a win and a draw in these games he will most likely win!

      And that too at almost 38 years of age! Goes against the conventional wisdom that you cannot progress in your chess skills beyond age 26...
