  • Europe Chess

    Hi all,

I will be in Europe for the next month and a half mixing chess, which is a hobby of mine, with sightseeing. I thought it would be worthwhile to embark on such an adventure the year before entering medical school.

I thought it would be neat if I tweeted/blogged about my adventures be it chess or non-chess related.

I come to Chesstalk to share my twitter with those interested in seeing Europe and European chess from an amateur's point of view. On a side note, I will be travelling with recent phenom Aman Hambleton.

Feel free to follow me @OussEli https://twitter.com/OussEli

Nice tweeets. Looks like you gained 50 FIDE points. Keep it up. What is your tournament in Italy called?

The boys all won today. Eric and Aman have 2 and Elias has 1.5.

Elias is too modest to mention that he is now clearly the strongest player in the Maritimes, and finally getting some good scores out of the region.

Eric drew his 2nd GM of the tournament in the 5th round. Looks like they're enjoying Europe.

Elias finished with an even score, but the better news is that both Eric and Aman picked up 6.5/9, 1/2 a point behind the leaders Volkov and Nisipeanu: http://www.server24chess.com/wwwOrti...ablescore.html
