I wonder if there are references to Leo Willams (and possibly Jacques Labelle). Leo gave a 30+ board blindfold simul in Valleyfield (Quebec) in the 1980's, and the two played a well-attended 6-game blindfold match in July 1970 (it ended 3-3).

Its the definitive book on blindfold chess (like an encyclopedia). AFAIK there has been no other complete book on blindfold chess in history. To my knowledge Leo Williams is mentioned and I am in it. I was interviewed extensively (7 yrs ago!) by the authors. I have ordered a copy but have not received it yet. (itching to put my hands on it)
