For the following reasons, Statement 6 has no basis to support any of its statements.

The statement contains many inaccuracies and misleading information.

1. "Between 600 million and 400 million years ago, CO2 in Earth's atmosphere was quite high (over 600 ppm)." - This part is not accurate. The Earth's atmospheric composition has varied significantly over geological time scales, but estimating specific CO2 levels with precision for periods millions of years ago is challenging. CO2 levels have been much higher in the distant past, but stating an exact value like "over 600 ppm" is not supported by direct evidence.
2. "Between 200 million and 150 million years ago, it had dropped to over 300 ppm. and remained there." - This part is also not accurate. CO2 levels during different periods of Earth's history can only be estimated with a degree of uncertainty. While there were periods when CO2 levels were lower than present, stating an exact value like "over 300 ppm" for this time frame lacks precision and reliable evidence.
3. "421 parts per million in May, pushing the atmosphere further into territory "not seen for millions of years," This, too, lacks evidence, although The Muana data is accurate; however, the below excellent article by climate scientists concludes with "Rapidly increasing CO₂ values measured during this Modern Warming may not be unprecedented compared with past natural fluctuations after all."

Sure, nothing to ward off, sometimes I simply add more when I have time or improve on how I worded something but never change the fundamental message. A good start would be to watch the actual video and decide for yourself instead of letting others do the thinking for you. He cites plenty of verifiable evidence in his

The other 30 GT may be just balanced out by the biological activities of other animals. Actually the balance of emission/absorption process is very dynamic. There are HUGE reserves of CO2 in ocean and soil, and their emission/absorption are dynamically adjusted to keep the atmosphere CO2 in balance. Here are the reserve of CO2 (unit: GT or billion ton) Deep Ocean: 38,000 Ocean Surface: 1000 Soil: 2500 Atmosphere: 3000 (calculated from 0.04%, or 400 ppm, of air composition) Vegetation: 600 Only a small fractions of these reserves participate in the emission/absorption process, thus the balance can be restored from even smaller fractions from the reverse. Furthermore, vegetation, which is the main driver for net CO2 absorption, has a beautiful negative feedback mechanism: the higher CO2 concentration in the air, the better plants grow, thus the more CO2 they absorb and lower the CO2 level, which in return, contribute to the balancing of CO2 in atmosphere at a certain level. So be very thankful to CO2, a trace gas in atmosphere that gives all the greenness in this world. All your foods come from plants, most weight of all plants come from CO2.
